IMPACT TIMES' Guidelines for Authors / Artists
Our news magazine, Impact Times, makes reading concise, informative, educational, and rewarding. Each quarterly issue contains short articles on poetry, short stories, business strategies, book proposal suggestions, photographic techniques, etc. All technical topics must be written in a format where a regular reader can understand or comprehend. Professionals from diverse fields including the arts, literature, fashion, business, law, and science are encouraged to submit their articles to us for review. We also accept images by artists, photographers, or graphic designers to be included in the magazine.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1. All submission must be one page maximum for each article, single-spaced page, and size-12 font. Please submit no more than 5 articles per issue unless requested otherwise by our editors.
2. If a photograph or image is submitted, the image must not be larger than 1 megabytes.
3. Include a paragraph or two description of your background.
4. Include a photo headshot of yourself in JPEG format.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS:
E-mail your inquiry or submission to Managing Editor: Editor@impacttimes.com. All articles must be one page in length and posted in the content of the e-mail. All images must be in JPEG format (less than 1 megabytes). Include your full name and contact info in the e-mail plus a short bio of your background. We encourage prospective authors to follow Impact Times' Guidelines for Authors before submitting materials.
NOTE: At the moment no royalty fee or any form of payment to those whose works have been chosen for publication. Payment policies concerning publication of future submissions will take effect at the specific date of the announcement, a date not yet established. All submitted items must be original and do not violate copyright laws. Unsolicited materials will be returned only if accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope. We will contact those whose works we select for potential publication within 2 weeks upon receipt of the items. All published works are automatically considered for the Gold Pen Award or Gold Image Award. Please do not call us to inquire about the status of your submission. GOLD PEN AWARD
The Gold Pen Award will be given each year to one individual with the top article published in our news magazine, Impact Times. The article will be evaluated on a number of criteria including creativity, innovativeness, social value, literary merit, and credentials of the submitter.

GOLD IMAGE AWARD
The Gold Image Award will be given each year to one individual with the top image published in our news magazine, Impact Times. The winning image will be evaluated on a number of criteria including creativity, innovativeness, social value, marketing-commercial appeal, and credentials of the submitter.
